Art Biography of Sandi MacKellar
Endlessly fascinated by the appeal of everyday sights, Sandi is inspired to remember a moment or a mood in time with the subtle luminosity of watercolour. She is frequently found depicting skies, water and snow.
Se grew up in the small town of Powassan and moved to Toronto in 1976. Always having a penchant for artistic endeavors, she had the opportunity of working with watercolourist Liz Roberts. This compelled her to focus primarily upon watercolour as her medium of choice.
In 2009, from her home in Callander, she has participated in shows at the Best Western on Lakeshore, in North Bay and at the Alex Dufresne Gallery. She continues to enjoy interpreting the abundant beauty of the outdoor world through her artwork.
