AQUA WASH Oil is a colourless fluid medium; it is also the binding oil of the AQUA WASH range. It is used to dilute colours considered too thick when inking or wiping, while preserving ink quality.
Charbonnel Aqua Wash Oil is specially formulated to reduce Aqua Wash inks for greater transparency or to alter the inking or wiping properties of the ink. Aqua Wash Oil can be used in larger increments where higher fluidity may be required such as in the Monotype process.

Thick transparent medium can be mixed with any colour, and increases transparency while retaining the same texture. As with the colours, this medium softens on kneading, and does not change the colour with regard to its tack and its adhesion in the grooves.
