Metallic & pearlescent colours/mediums also contain mica coated with titanium dioxide & iron oxide.

All PanPastel® Colours are professional artists’ quality soft pastels, made using a unique pan format (cake-like) manufacturing process requiring minimal binder and fillers, resulting in rich, ultra soft and super-blendable colours and applying dry colour like fluid paint for the first time. Each colour is loaded with the finest quality artists’ pigments for the most concentrated colours possible.

The colours have excellent lightfastness and are fully erasable. They can be mixed together for a complete painting palette. Pans contain 0.30floz (9ml) of colour - 40% more material than the average pastel stick, yielding at least 4-5 times more coverage than sticks.

Unique Packaging

In addition to all the great benefits of using PanPastel, they are also packed in a very convenient format. The pan format protects the colours, keeping them separate and clean in the studio and when transporting them. The pans thread securely together, making storing and organizing the colours easy and minimizing the amount of storage space required. Palette Trays are also available. These functional palettes are the ideal way to hold PanPastel in use and make storing the colours quick and easy.
