That Will Stand the Test of Time Acid-free pH neutral. An ideal multimedia paper, Fabriano Ingres is characterized by a lovely texture pattern. This surface is a favourite with artists at all skill levels and working in a wide range of media.
The laid finish is fantastic for drawing with charcoal, pastels, ink, Conte Crayon, and pencil, as well as calligraphy and even off-set printing. Ingres is skillfully made from a time tested blend of cotton and alpha cellulose.
Its high rag content makes it very strong, allowing for repeated reworking. We sell 90grm (40 lb), size 50 x 70cm sheets.

The particular grain of the surface and the highly lightfast colours are the principals characteristics of this laid paper. It is acid free and particularly recommended for deluxe editions, advertising (company presentations, posters, calendars, brochures, leaflets and catalogues), fancy paperwork and book binding applications, drawing (pastel, charcoal) and collage. The grain direction runs parallel to the 100 cm side and the cross lines are parallel to the 70 cm side.
This pastel paper is mould-made, wood free, laid watermarked and is available in 8 colours. Suitable for all dry media, especially soft pastels and pastel pencils.
