Holbein Mat Acrylic Individual Paint Colours

Holbein Mat Acrylic can be used directly as a painting medium or as a thriving ground for acrylics, aqueous colours, oil, and tempera paints. It has a buttery consistency and unique texture that dries to a vivid matte finish. The gold and silver colours are slightly glossier, giving that sheen finish. 

Each colour offers outstanding lightfast qualities and exceptional covering power. Applicable to various materials, paper, canvas, fabric, clay, concrete, stone, leather and more. 

They are used as a coloured ground or gesso for visual journaling as the rich opaque colours cover everything. The tooth is subtle but significant for pencils, crayons, pastels, Conte and markers.
