The hues are virtually identical in colour to their namesakes but are cleaner in mixtures and more robust in tints—you’ll find a little goes a long way. Working properties—staining power, semi-opacity, and excellent lightfastness—are also nearly identical to those of the low-soluble cadmium colours we previously offered.

Other Unique Watercolours are created from pigments that DANIEL SMITH has sourced, often from particular locations, colours such as Burgundy Yellow Ochre, Monte Amiata Natural Sienna, and Roasted French Ochre. Some are created exclusively by DANIEL SMITH, such as Cascade Green, Deep Sap Green, and Green Gold.
