They are so saturated that they are nearly orange at full strength; Isoindoline Yellow can be lightened with water for glowing, semi-transparent washes. An even finish and excellent lightfastness make this watercolour a pleasure to paint with.

It is an excellent alternative to Cadmium Yellow Deep. Its warm, glowing, yellow school bus colour and supremely smooth texture make it an essential addition to the palette. In light washes, it creates a soft, sunlit radiance.
