Part of our Signature Series, Joseph Z's Cool Grey is very dark in mass tone with interesting, slightly greenish-violet tones; it mixes wonderfully with other colours, toning them down and adding a bit of lush coolness. Joseph Z's Cool Grey is semi-transparent, granulating, low-staining, and has excellent lightfastness.

PrimaTek Watercolours are made from minerals, often semi-precious minerals, that have been ground into pigments, mixed with gum arabic (the binder), and milled into Them. Virtually identical in colour to their namesakes, they are cleaner in mixtures and much more robust in tints. The functional properties—staining power, semi-transparency, and excellent lightfastness—are nearly identical to those of the low-soluble cadmium colours that DANIEL SMITH previously manufactured.
