Perylene Green (PBk31) Vert de Pérylène
If you want to add atmospheric or emotional impact to your work, consider including semi-transparent Perylene Green in your palette. It has an almost black mass tone that transitions to a stunning blue-green wash without producing mud colour, making it ideal for delineating shadows or creating moody landscapes, foreboding horizons, and turbulent seas.
Perylene Green is a medium-staining pigment that combines intensity with softness. It is highly soluble and easy to use. This pigment can be glazed under or over other colours, is compatible with both synthetic and natural watercolour brushes, and performs well on all surfaces. It is a very cool colour.
