Carmine (PR 176) Carmin

Carmine is a blue-shade benzimidazolone pigment that is redder and darker, has more staining than Alizarin Crimson, and is vastly superior in terms of its properties permanence.

These watercolour sticks offer the same vivid colour intensity as Daniel Smith Extra-Fine Watercolours, combined with the convenience and portability of half pans in a practical stick format. Every stick is filled with pure pigment, which activates easily with water, creating vibrant, rich, and creamy colours upon wetting. They can also be used dry for building texture, making them an ideal medium for sketching and exploring colour values and bold expressions. These extra-fine watercolour sticks are a valuable addition to any artist's palette.

  • Lightfastness: Very Good
  • Transparency: Semi-Transparent
  • Staining: High Staining
  • Granulation: Non Granulating
  • Pigment: PR 176 (Benzimidzalone Carmine HF3C) | Series: 2
