Since prehistoric times, raw Sienna has been used as a highly permanent inorganic earth pigment of low intensity but medium to high tinting strength. Balance the transparent intensity of Quinacridone Gold, Burnt Orange, and Burnt Scarlet with the earthiness of Raw Sienna. Trying a moist Raw Sienna wash with a touch of or spattered with Lunar Earth or Lunar Black creates unique texture effects.
