The Encaustic Art Hotplate Compact is a neat anodized aluminium heating surface that is cleverly powered by the encaustic art painting iron. andnbsp;The iron is clamped by the beautifully logo embellished stand and works for direct applications as well as a small heated palette. andnbsp;The unit is an over-sized A5 at 25cm x 18.5cm and the lovely anodized plate is 1cm thick.

It is suitable for all direct surface work and as an excellent mixing palette and for flat bottomed metal tin palettes andndash; good base surface contact of tins is essential.
