Daler Rowney FW Artists’ Ink is an acrylic-based, pigmented, water-resistant ink (on most surfaces) in 38 colours, available in 1 oz. (29.5 ml) bottles. All of the inks have a 3 or 4-star rating for permanence. Their high degree of lightfastness over a range of fully inter-mixable colours makes them ideal for artists to use to produce pictures for permanent display.

However, colours can be substantially diluted to achieve the most subtle tones, similar to watercolour. Such washes will dry to a water-resistant film on virtually all surfaces, and successive layers of colour can be laid over them. FW Artists’ Inks work well with airbrushes and technical pens.

FW inks handle smoothly with a brush, pen, or airbrush and do not clog even in fine technical pens. In addition to being ideal for fine artwork, FW ink will bond to glass, leather, ceramic, wood, paper, and board.
