General's Extra Smooth Premium Compressed Charcoal Sticks are created with the same artist's favourite family formula as our handcrafted pencils. These sticks are conveniently used by breaking into smaller pieces. The flat edge may be used for broad strokes. They can also be sharpened to a fine point with a Little-Redâ„¢ All-ArtÂ® Sharpener or sandpaper paddle. The drawing may be blended with a soft point, such as a paper stub, tortillion, or chamois. Erase with a FACTISÂ® Extra Soft White Eraser or General'sÂ® Kneaded eraser. For an exciting presentation, use bold strokes on paper with a rough surface.
