Masterson developed the Sta-Wet Palette System over 25 years ago, and its functionality is unmatched. The system keeps acrylics and other water-based paints moist on the open palette for hours. Once the lid is closed, the paints stay workable for days, even weeks. A wet sponge and special permeable palette paper provide a constant source of moisture, so your paints will not dry out.

Oil paints can also be stored in an airtight container. When stored, they should be used on a palette suitable for oils. New Wave Artist Palettes, produced by New Wave Art, are compatible and sold separately.

Each palette contains the following:
