Workable with a range of media as an under-painting, this unique 145lb (310gsm) paper can accept as many as twenty-five layers of pastel.  In addition, Pastel Premier includes a final seal coat that ensures maximum durability and can withstand almost any scrubbing or reworking.

It is made from 100% cotton paper, double primed and coated with an aluminum oxide created explicitly for Hand-book Paper Co. to produce the perfect surface for pastel painting. A final seal coat is applied to make the surface extremely durable. Pastel Premier is preferred by pastel painters, used with oils, acrylics, and other dry media, and made in the U.S.A.
