The chrome-plated nickel-silver ferrules are crimped and glued to an enamelled wood handle, giving the brush a long, useful life. R&F Hake Encaustic Brushes are traditional Asian wash brushes made of sheep hair. The brush strokes are ultra-smooth and minimally textured.
