La Carte Pastel is the very first product developed especially for pastel painting. La Carte Pastel has a 170-lb. stiff Bristol type weight, so unlike paper it cannot be easily folded, creased or punctured. La Carte Pastel has a neutral pH, slightly abrasive vegetable fiber coating that actually reacts with soft and oil pastel to provide enhanced adhesion and thus, reducing the need to heavily fix artwork.
