A very steady and durable nib, the Hunt 101 is an excellent choice for projects that require larger writing with x-heights above 1/4". It can be used on most paper surfaces, though it can catch on the upstroke when used on a rougher surface.

The Hunt 101 requires firm and deliberate pressure to open swells, while its strength and steadiness make it an ideal selection for student practice.

100 Artist and #101 Imperial Artist Nibs

100 Artist: Perfect for writing at x-heights of 1/8” or less, this highly flexible and delicate nib is best for use on smooth papers. A very flexible extra-fine nib. 

#101 Imperial Artist: Perfect for creating Copperplate or Spencerian scripts, the #101 is durable and steady.  Ideal for expert and student scribes alike, the #101 is great for larger scale lettering projects. 

Both the #100 and #101 nibs may be used with either a straight/classic style or oblique penholder.

Speedball Standard Point Dip Pen Nibs

Three types of pen nib holders are available: standard point, fine point, and crow quill.

Standard pen nibs have a larger, half-round body which only fits a standard pen holder. The standard pen holder is also used for scratch art and linoleum cutters.
