Strathmore 400 Series Toned Mixed Media Pads combine the utility of Strathmore’s heavyweight mixed media paper with the toned surfaces of their toned sketch paper.

Available in warm tan and cool gray, this paper is intended explicitly for light and dark media use. This paper allows for a broader range of values by providing the middle value to distinguish highlights and shadows clearly.

These toned paper pads are suitable for wet and dry media and are ideal for artists working in multiple mediums. At 184 lb., this paper is heavyweight enough for wet media with a medium drawing surface to finish a drawing sheet—heavyweight paper that has the attributes of a watercolour paper but with a vellum drawing finish.
