Unison's pastels contain a minimal binder, making them soft and smooth—the meticulous recipes are based on traditional pigments such as cadmiums, cobalts and natural and synthetic earth.

Considering that the pastels are handmade from various traditional pigments, all of which have their own characteristics. This means that the size does fluctuate ever so slightly, and the softness varies between the different colours. Still, they are well kept within Unison’s criteria of perfection.
