Consistency andamp;Texture: Artists' Oil Colour's buttery, stiff consistency is ideal for retaining brush or palette knife strokes and can be thinned to a very fine glaze. Surface Sheen:andnbsp;The sheen reflects the pigments used and the different oil levels in each formulation, so the gloss level varies across individual colours. This can be controlled by selecting the surface, the addition of solvent and the mediums used. History:andnbsp;Since 1832, Winsor andamp; Newton has maintained a reputation for excellence.
