Before painting, you must staple or mount the canvas sheets to a hard board surface.

WHAT IS WATERCOLOUR CANVAS

Fredrix watercolour canvas is an authentic 100% woven cotton artist canvas with a special coating that performs similarly to a cold press or rough watercolour paper yet provides a distinctive look that can only be achieved on canvas. It will not tear like paper, and you can lightly lift out pigment or thoroughly wash out your painting surface without damaging the canvas surface.

These ARTIST SERIES archival quality canvas sheets are double-primedwith an acid-free acrylic titanium gesso.
