Canson’s Mi-Teintes is one of the world’s most celebrated papers for coloured pencils, pastels, charcoal, and Conte’. Canson Mi-Teintes Assorted Colour Sheets cover a variety of colour styles for all artistic needs and interests. Mi-Teintes has a 55% cotton rag content, is gelatin sized, and has a sturdy 98lb -160 gsm weight, making it very strong and allowing repeated re-working in various media.
Each sheet has two distinct surface textures, one smooth and one with a grainy texture, making it a marvellous work surface for pastellists, coloured pencil artists, and charcoal lovers that enjoy working on a toned ground.

Canson Mi-Teintes is a pulp-dyed colour paper that has won worldwide recognition for its qualities. An authentic art paper is gelatine stock-sized, which limits the absorption of pigments to show colours at their best. It has the highest cotton content (more than 50%) on the market, combining mechanical resistance and a sensuous feel.
In addition to its qualities as a drawing medium, Canson Mi-Teintes complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of excellent conservation. Furthermore, it has the advantage of having a different texture on either side: a honeycombed side characteristic of Mi-Teintes; and fine grain on the other.
