Bob Ross Wildlife “Cheeta” Workshop, March 2, 2024

You’ve seen Bob Ross® paint beautiful landscapes, happy clouds and trees in minutes, right before your eyes. It is a simple oil painting technique that you can learn! It’s the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique.

Now Bob’s technique is being taught by certified Bob Ross instructor Lise King (CRI®-CRWI®).checking

This series of painting workshops is for beginner and intermediate painters. When taking monthly classes, you will progressively develop a complete understanding of the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique and genuinely experience the joy of painting. We’ll supply all the art materials so that you do not have to carry your supplies in and out after every class.

Create a whole new world while having Fun! This course is designed to have you make a painting in one session.

If you are from out of town, you’ll love painting happy clouds and trees or wildlife and flora and spending your evenings in a beautiful country setting. Our lovely local area has so much to do, and see that any travelling companions you may bring along with you will have plenty to do while you are painting. You may want to rent a cottage or RV Park. When your class is over for the day, you will have a great time exploring our region’s historic scenic sites; you may like to canoe or Kayak our rivers and lakes or explore the La Vase Portages and experience our local seasonal events, hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Most people in this workshop may also like to play at home besides learning to paint. Learning to take care of your art supplies is part of the artistic process, so this class will teach you how to maintain your art supplies properly. Should you want to purchase your art supplies? We carry Bob Ross®'s art supplies in our store, but you are not required to buy your supplies for the workshops. The Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique and Bob Ross, Inc. require that you use Bob Ross® brushes, paint and thinner.

Space is purposely limited to allow better interaction between instructor and students, so don't delay signing up! Classes will be held this summer; check periodically for updates. Sign up for the newsletter so you do not miss out!

Biography Artist Lise King
(CRI®-CRWI®) Contemporary Multidiscipline

Lise King (CRI®-CRWI®) is a Northern Canadian businesswoman, contemporary multidiscipline artist, and art instructor who loves embodying the beauty surrounding us. She loves using colour, texture, and innovation in her realistic, impressionistic, and abstract paintings.

Art is like chocolate. Why? Art is a personal act and, at the same time, euphoretic! Art is a personal act insofar as it comes from the pure observation and perspective of the person creating the piece who reveals a bit of themselves through Art. The artist indulges in a self-fulfilling act and never wants it to end as they express themselves in the rendered interpretation of the artist's observation and vibes.

Beauty is not superficial; it goes beyond the surface, capturing the vision. In Lise's art form, you must look beyond the surface to encapsulate the true beauty of the artwork's narrative, flow, and energy.

A native of East Ferris, Ontario, she is very familiar with the unique perspectives and distinctive character of the North. Her artistic evolution lived through studying, teaching, and promoting culture as the founder of \"King's Framing and Art Gallery in Corbeil, Ontario, and founded a group of northern artists called \"The Consolidated Group of 7\" from 2009 to 2016.

Lise was on Namta's (International Art Materials Association's) Executive Board Director and Art Advocacy \"Why Art Matters.\" She was the Art in the Park coordinator under Summer in the Park from 2010 to 2014. She's a member of the Callander Alex Dufresne Gallery.

Lise is a certified Artist-Educator Foundations (Learning through the Arts Program) with the Royal Conservatory of the Arts. A Namta Certified Art Materials Professional by the National Art Material Trade Association has an SoC Certified School of Colour Teacher and tutor and is a Certified Bob Ross instructor (CRWI-CRI). She also takes private lessons with manufacturers' specialists and art instructors.

Her progress in self-discovery influenced thoughtful and well-balanced creations that express the depth and essence of her vision. Her style, while simultaneously realistic, impressionist or abstract, reflects her experiences and spiritual journey with respect to our creator, the principal artist.

You can find her work at \"King's Framing & Art Gallery\" in Corbeil, Ontario or online at https://kingsframingandartgallery.com/.
