Bristle Magic is a non-toxic brush cleaner and reconditioner. Perfect for those who have invested in good quality brushes, this will extend their life and keep them in good condition. It cleans most paint types and removes dried-on oil or acrylic paint!

Bristle Magic is a cleaner and brush conditioner that cleans oil and acrylic paints from paintbrushes. Bristle Magic also removed dried-on paints from the bristles. For oil painters, we recommend using Bristle Magic full strength, while for acrylic painters, the recommendation is to dilute with water to the strength needed, depending on how long your brushes have been left with paint in the bristle. When mixed with water, Bristle Magic turns into a cream coloured solution.

• Allow hardened brushes to soak overnight, and occasionally work on bristles to loosen the paint.

Some artists like to have a screen on the bottom of the container to gently work brush bristles and allow the paint to settle out to the bottom. A loofah, sponge or comb works excellent, too, to help draw colour out of bristles. After cleaning your brushes with Bristle Magic, rinse well with water, and you are ready to paint!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Wipe excess colour from your brush with a cloth. If you are using water-based paint, rinse with water.
2. Add Bristle Magic to an empty container and dip your brush in the solution. Suppose the paint is still wet. Work the brush into the cleaner to remove the colour. If the paint is partially dry, leave the brush to soak for a while before cleaning.
3. Remove from the cleaner. When your brush is free of colour, rinse with soap and water.
4. Allow the sediment to settle and pour off the remaining cleaner for re-use.
