Our DANIEL SMITH Aussie Red Gold watercolour is a gorgeous, glowing colour that stands up with the brilliant orange Quinacridones and holds its own as a unique colour on your palette.

Quinacridone Burnt Orange is granulating and darker with strong brown tones compared to non-granulating Aussie Red Gold; both are transparent, have low staining and have excellent lightfastness.

Quinacridone Sienna is granulating and quite ruddy compared with non-granulating Aussie Red Gold; both are transparent, have low staining and have excellent lightfastness.

Aussie Red Gold, compared to these Quinacridones, leans more towards orange with a similar Quin glow and is non-granulating, transparent, low staining with an excellent lightfastness.

Quinacridone Gold is granulating, with more golden yellow tones than non-granulating Aussie Red Gold; both are transparent, have low staining and have excellent lightfastness.

Quinacridone Deep Gold has more golden-brown tones than Aussie Red Gold; both are non-granulating, transparent, have low staining, and have excellent lightfastness.
