Every Derwent Lightfast Coloured Pencil satisfies the international lightfast testing standard, ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105. A scale of 1 - 5 is obtained, with values 1 and 2 considered highly lightfast.
Rather than limiting your palette to the choices straight out of the tin, expand your colour range by tinting and mixing colours directly on the paper surface. This will create a more natural look to your work and form a new and vibrant colour.
