Use Derwent Water Soluble Sketching Pencils, wet or dry. Shade them on dry paper and apply a water wash to get a watercolour look, or use dampened paper for softened edges of the line. Or use them dry like regular sketching pencils.
This water-soluble version of the Derwent Sketching Pencil brings three easy-to-use lead grades, each giving its own unique wash when used with water.
When used dry, these pencils behave like a top-quality sketching pencil should, but when used with water, they give your sketches a much warmer and softer finish.
