Great lifting ability:

Watercolour washes can be "lifted" easier than on watercolour paper. Unlike paper, Archival Watercolour Cotton Canvas is more durable. You can be quite aggressive with your adjustments and corrections. You can even wash out your entire painting and start over!

Archival Durability:

Fredrix Archival Watercolour Cotton Canvas will not tear like paper can, so you can scratch it, scrape it, staple it, wet it and re-wet it, and it will not damage your canvas.
