These ARTIST SERIES hand-turned panels are double-primed with an acid-free acrylic titanium gesso. The sides are completely turned under and glued to prevent fraying and separation.

A versatile option for oils, acrylics, water-soluble oils, paint markers, permanent markers, spray paints and alkyds.

EASY-TO-USE ACRYLIC PRIMED CANVAS PANELS

Fredrix Hand Turned Canvas Panels are prepared by sizing and priming a closely woven cotton canvas with acid-free acrylic gesso. The surface texture provides a definite paint-gripping “tooth" with minimum vehicle absorption, providing the perfect support for oil, casein, tempera, or acrylic painting. Lightweight and ideal for travel, the medium-weight canvas is glued to an innovative backing board.

The boards are firm and stable, with clean, hand-turned edges; they provide the ideal surface for studies or initial renderings in the studio, classroom or Plein air.
