A sheer orange brown single pigment colour made by burning raw sienna. Sienna is a natural yellow clay found in the earth, rich in iron oxide and deepens in colour when heated. Named after Siena in Italy, where the pigment was sourced initially, this is a transparent colour with red-brown tones

Heavy Body Artist Acrylic Paint has a thick consistency for traditional art techniques using brushes or knives and for experimental, mixed media, collage and printmaking applications.

Impasto applications retain crisp brush strokes and knife marks. Good surface drag provides excellent handling and blending characteristics with increased open-working time. High pigment load produces rich, brilliant, permanent colour.
