Masterson's Sta-Wet Super Pro Palette Sponge keeps Acrylic and other water-soluble paints moist for hours when used with Masterson's StapWet Paintner's Pal.

The key to success with your Sta-Wet Palette is proper preparation of the palette. Please read all of the instructions carefully on the package. Be sure always to use Masterson Sta-Wet Acrylic Palette Paper. These Instructions will not work with other types of palette paper.

HELPFUL HINTS

Masterson Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper is reusable. Wash off the paint with light scrubbing and reuse it immediately, or let it dry out and re-wet later. Both sides of the paper are usable. Paint stains do not affect the process.

If you paint often and anticipate that you will be changing your paper frequently, prepare several sheets of paper at the same time per directions for Use #1. After the paper has been appropriately soaked, allow the paper to dry out and store it in a convenient place. When you need a new sheet, rinse it under the water for a few minutes, and it will be ready for use. You can store it in a convenient place. If you paint in sweltering, dry or windy conditions, water evaporates from the paper, and a sponge may occur. If the edges of the paper begin to dry, add some water to the sponge. Please don't LET THE PAPER COMPLETELY DRY OUT BEFORE REHYDRATING. To rehydrate the sponge, lift the paper and sponge together in one corner and pour some water into the tray. Gently tip the tray back and forth to distribute the water evenly. Use your fingers to press down any dry spots on the paper onto the sponge.

TRANS PORTING YOUR PALETTE- while the lid fits snugly onto the tray. THE SEAL IS NOT WATERTIGHT.  Before transporting your palette, gently squeeze more water from the sponge before closing the lid. When the tray, water evaporation doesn’t occur, so there does not need to be as much water in the sponge. The container should be transported in the horizontal (flat) position.

If mildew or unpleasant orders occur, use distilled water to moisten the sponge. Or add ¼ teaspoon of ammonia to a water basin and use it to wet the sponge. Ammonia will not affect the paper, the sponge or your paints. You can also lightly mist your sponge with a can of Lysol before placing paper on it.

The sponge is very durable and can be cleaned in the washing machine. DO NOT USE BLEACH TO REMOVE STAINS. Paint stains will not affect the process.
