Gesso provides an absorbent surface that is ideal for painting. It is waterproof, lightfast, non-yellowing, and flexible. Demco gesso is suitable for acrylics, oils, casein, gouache, pastels, charcoal, and pencils. It is easy to apply with a brush, paint roller, or palette knife on dry, porous surfaces.

Supports: dry surfaces: canvas, cotton, cardboard, plaster, concrete and more.

The economic primer prepares many surfaces for applying various paint mediums, such as oils, acrylics, and tempera. Once dry, our gesso remains semi-flexible and will not turn yellow. It can be used on canvas, paper, fabric, wood, etc. For a more granular texture, we recommend applying two coats.

Practical information:

• Clean with water and soap.
• Shake before use.
• Do not apply with turpentine or oil.
• Can be diluted with water in small quantities to avoid cracking.
