The economic primer preps a multitude of surfaces for the application of a variety of paints such as oils, acrylics, tempera etc. Once dry, our gesso will remain semi-flexible and will not be yellow.

This gesso makes it easier to achieve the chiaroscuro technique, an effect of contrasting light and shadow to create striking and dramatic paintings.

Supports: dry surfaces: canvas, cotton, cardboard, plaster, concrete and more.

Gesso provides an absorbent surface ideal for paint. It is waterproof, lightfast, non-yellowing and flexible. Demco gesso can be used with acrylic and oil painting, casein, gouache, pastels, charcoal and pencils. It is easy to apply with a brush, a paint roller or a painting knife on dry and porous surfaces.

Supports: dry surfaces: canvas, cotton, cardboard, plaster, concrete and more.
