Demco Frisket Masking Fluid is used to mask areas of paper, making the paper resistant to watercolour.

Liquid frisket masking fluid is commonly used with watercolours, drawing inks, India ink, and coloured pencils to conserve areas on paper. The pink colour frisket masking fluid is latex-free.

Applied with a colour shaper, stylus, or paintbrush, it dries within 15 minutes. To remove it, use cement rubber or rub your finger without ripping the paper.

Demco Frisket Masking Fluid is used to mask areas of paper, making them resistant to watercolour. The paper must be dry before applying the frisket masking fluid. Sections treated with frisket must be allowed to dry before over-painting, but once dry, these areas remain protected and cannot be penetrated by colour.

If using a paintbrush, please treat it with soap after applying the frisket and use an old, cheap brush for the fisket masking fluid, which is known to damage paintbrushes.

Available in 60ml/2oz, blue or white

The pink colour frisket is latex-free.

Note: The best way to remove the frisket or make fluid is with a cemented rubber. This way, you do not leave an oily residue left by your finger on the paper, hindering the absorption of your watercolour. Remove it with a cement rubber or by rubbing your finger without ripping the paper with your fingers.
