These synthetic filament blend brushes are designed for students and professionals. Durable Cotman brushes feature excellent point and spring. They are considered a soft brush, slightly stiffer than sable. The soft filament is designed with watercolour, offering reasonable flow control and colour carrying capacity.
The set of 4 includes:
- 666 – One Stroke Flat Wash brush 1/4 inch, 6mm (width at ferrule) for edges, shapes or applying washes. It possesses great spring and colour carrying capacity.
- 111 – Round brushes Size 2, 4: For fine details, lines and washes. A traditional and popular head shape for all-purpose watercolour work can be used for broad strokes, yet it will also form a sharp point.
- 333 – Rigger brush Size 1: An extra-fine point for painting lines, long scroll work and detail.
