ETCHING TOOL DRY POINT STEEL ETCHING

Drypoint scribes are effective in adding detail or tone of a linear burr type. The line is created as the dry point or needle is dragged or drawn over the plate. When printed, the line has a blurred effect. It can be used as an etching needle.

E. C. Lyons tool tip made of high-carbon steel, etching and litho needle is excellent for creating fine details. Use this tool for etching, lithography, dry point, and stippling.

It has a wood handle and measures 8" (20 cm) long.
