Application: Use to thin oil colours or as a solvent for varnishes or varnish gums. Choose artist pure gum turpentine specifically for thinning or making damar varnish or mediums with damar because of its enhanced solvent strength compared to low odour thinners. Keartist'ssts gum turpentine containers are tightly capped when not in use to minimize fumes in the studio or work area. Choose Odorless Turpenid for cleaning brushes and tools or mixing with oil or alkyd colours where a less flammable, less hazardous substitute is preferable.
