Liquitex Basics Acrylic Gesso is formulated to produce a smooth, absorbent, and finely textured ground for painting on most porous surfaces, including canvas, paper, fabric, wood, or plaster. This gesso does not require thinning to achieve the right consistency. It dries quickly to a non-yellowing, brilliant white and is suitable for use with Liquitex Basics and other student-grade acrylic paints. It can be used with acrylics, oils, casein, tempera, and other painting mediums.
