Liquitex mediums dry quickly for rapid layering. You can mix them with any amount of acrylic colour; small quantities of colour yield the most transparency. These mediums can be applied to any material or surface that accepts traditional acrylic media, such as canvas, paper, or wood. APPLICATION: Apply to dry, painted areas to alter colouration without losing the established detail. Ensure the underlayer is completely dry before applying the next coat. A hairdryer may be used to speed up the drying process. Mix a small amount of colour into the medium. Mix thoroughly; the colour will lighten and appear cloudy. As the medium dries and becomes translucent, the colour will deepen and revert to a thin, transparent version of the original colour.
