Liquitex offers the broadest range of acrylic mediums to inspire creativity at every stage of the painting process. Liquitex Gel Mediums add body to thinner paint for impasto techniques, extend colour volume, and add transparency. Gels tend to dry slower than thinner paint films, allowing for more workable time. Gel mediums can modify acrylic paints in a variety of ways, and since they contain acrylic resins, they tend to improve adhesion and durability.

The formula is designed for use in techniques with desired slower drying characteristics. It may also be used in many of the conventional techniques for a Gloss Gel Medium, such as brushwork, thick glazes, collage, and murals.
