Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Medium Fluid Painting Medium is a unique formulation that extends drying time up to 40% for blending with acrylics. It adds flow to Liquitex Heavy Body Professional Artist Colour and is similar in body to Liquitex Soft Body Professional Artist Colour. Mix any amount into the colour to enhance the depth of colour intensity, increase transparency and gloss, ease the flow of paint, and add flexibility and adhesion to the paint film.

Dries clear to reveal the full, rich colour. Unlike retarding additives, any amount can be added to the colour without compromising the integrity of the paint film.

APPLICATIONS AS EXTENDER: Mix with Liquitex Soft Body Colour to lengthen the drying time, increase volume, and improve transparency while maintaining paint viscosity and flow. Combine with Liquitex Heavy Body Colour to slow the drying time, increase volume, and increase transparency while thinning the acrylic paint.

AS FIXATIVE: Use to increase gloss or shine; increases drying time. Use an atomizer or airbrush filled with a mixture of one part medium and one part water. Use as a fixative over artwork (acrylic paint, pastels, graphite, chalk) to increase gloss or shine. The increased drying time allows the media to be worked on the surface before final fixing.
