Prima Acrylic Liquid Fabric Medium transforms acrylic colours into smooth, flowing, permanent fabric paint that performs similarly to fabric dye by allowing the paint to be absorbed into the fabric instead of merely sitting on top of the surface. It remains flexible when dry and will not peel off.

Shake gently before each use.

Prewash the item to be painted to remove sizing; do not use fabric softener. Mix two parts of acrylic paint to one part of Prima Fabric Medium and one part of water (50% paint, 25% water, and 25% medium).

After painting, allow the design to “set” for three days. Then, heat-set the design by placing it face down, covering it with a cloth and pressing firmly over the design area for 15 to 20 seconds with an iron set at the level appropriate for the fabric. Move the iron back and forth slowly while pressing firmly down.

To wash, the item must be heat-set. Use mild soap, gently cycle, and air dry.

Clean up while wet with soap and water, and do not mix with any products intended for oil painting use.
