Prima Glazing and Retarder Medium enhance the adhesion of acrylic paints, latex, and even water-based house paint while prolonging drying time.

• It mixes well with acrylic artists' colours and acrylic house paints to provide a transparent yet entire-body glaze while extending its open time.
• This glaze's "Open Time" is 5 minutes, depending on the medium used and environmental conditions.
• Improves paint adhesion and flow, reduces paint drag, and improves film flexibility.
• Dries to an even, soft gloss. Ideal for creating Faux Finishes.

Direction: 

Shake thoroughly before each use. Add and blend the amount necessary to acrylic paints to achieve your desired glaze consistency and colour transparency for most Faux and colour transparency. For most Finishes, mix 1 part acrylic paint. Increasing the proportion of Glazing Medium will increase colour transparency and working time.

Although medium may be thinned with water, only minimal thinning (less than 5%) is recommended so paint adhesion is not compromised. For multiple glaze applications, allow adequate drying between coats.

Clean with soap and water, and do not mix with any products intended for oil painting use. Not for use on glass.
