Always mix Impasto Medium thoroughly into colours. For thick impastos, build the texture in several layers, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Clean it with soap and water. This medium is perfect for painters who want to use non-hazardous solvents.

Artisan Water Mixable Oil Paint Mediums are not used with traditional oil colours. As with conventional oils, it is always best to choose one medium and use it throughout the painting.

A semi-gloss, quick-drying, non-yellowing impasto medium. It retains crisp textures and brush strokes without visible levelling, extends tube colour, and provides bulk. It also allows more blending time. It forms a flexible, tough film that can be varnished normally when dry.

Liquin Impasto and Liquin Oleopasto are the only mediums that safely thicken water with mixable oil colour. For heavier brushwork or palette knife.
