Gesso provides an absorbent surface ideal for painting. It is waterproof, lightfast, non-yellowing, and flexible. Demco gesso can be used with acrylic and oil painting, casein, gouache, pastels, charcoal, and pencils. It is easy to apply with a brush, a paint roller, or a paint knife on dry and porous surfaces.

It supports dry surfaces, such as canvas, cotton, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and more. Use this Grey gesso like most regular gessoes: apply it, allow it to dry, and sand between layers to achieve a smooth finish. Once dry, Demco Grey Gesso will remain semi-flexible and will not yellow over time.
