The Gesso Artist Series is a quality primer that prepares many surfaces for applying various paints such as oils, acrylics, tempera, and more. Once dry, our gesso remains semi-flexible and does not turn yellow. It can be used on canvas, paper, fabric, wood, and more. It is available in six colours and a clear gesso to maintain the visibility of the working surface. Gesso provides an absorbent surface that is ideal for paint. It is waterproof, lightfast, non-yellowing, and flexible.

Demco Gesso Artists Series
It can be used with acrylic and oil paints, casein, gouache, pastels, charcoal, and pencils. Applying a brush, paint roller, or palette knife to dry, porous surfaces is easy.
Gesso provides an absorbent surface that is ideal for painting. It is waterproof, lightfast, non-yellowing, and flexible. It supports dry surfaces, including canvas, cotton, cardboard, plaster, concrete, paper, fabric, wood, and more. Two coats are recommended for a more granular texture.
Available in six colours and a clear gesso to maintain the visibility of the working surface.
Practical information:
- Clean with water and soap.
- Shake before use.
- Do not apply with turpentine or oil.
- Can be diluted with water in small quantities to avoid cracking.
